National Federation of Music

The National Federation of Music Clubs

The National Federation of Music Clubs has been organized by music teachers and enthusiast since 1951. Its goal is to support and encourage young musicians by setting a standard of excellence through music education and performance. One of the Federations main goals is to promote contemporary american composers by categorizing and offering their compositions for today's young performer. The "Junior Music Festival" is the locally organized Spring event in which the student musicians perform two pieces for memory in a private adjudicated environment. After which they are critiqued, graded and entered into a point system to receive awards and trophies.

Piano Works Studios enjoys seeing how much our students grow and improve as young musicians through participating in the "Junior Music Festival " We encourage but do not require all students to participate.
