26 years in Ashland!

Jodie and her husband Arthur moved to Ashland from Charlotte, NC in July of 1994 where she had a successful teaching career and he was working in the film industry . They lived in one of the historic homes on the railroad tracks where they were married outside (to the accompaniment of a freight train!) Jodie continued her teaching career out of the home and shortly afterward moved her studio to the Hanover Arts and Activities Center. In 2013 the studio moved to 602-B England Street (the Minivan building). The impending arrival of WAWA prompted a search for new studio space, and in March of 2017 the studio moved to Ashland Town Center, 401-B England Street, around the corner from Domino's.

This location has allowed for the addition of a second studio space, and for additional openings for piano and guitar lessons. The expanded studio space also offers opportunities for intimate concerts and other events, and is the home base for Behind the Curtain, Arthur's visual and performing arts studio.
